Spark is an ed-tech startup comany on a mission to help people build their career as a Data Professional. They do so by enabling students to participate in high-performing training programs at no upfront cost. This means that you can study first, and pay for your tuition as a percentage of your income after you have been hired.




Brand identity concept
The Success-Based Education platform aligns the interests of quality-driven education and training institutions, their students and investors. It focuses on the students by using technology to assess their skills, and offers a career accelarator to help those students integrate into the workforce as the best candidates they can be. Therefore, their brand identity should communicate that Spark is a visionary leader combining skills, technology and innovation to build new ways for human growth.
The idea behind the logo is to focus on the peak - going all the way to the top. The A acts as a clear arrow pointing upwards, referrencing both a pencil (for education) and a mountain peak (for a successful journey with a rewarding end point).


Spark's main brand colour is blue to coincide with the tech and educations worlds, but mostly because it is the colour of the clear skies - look up. The occassional cream background and dotted salmon, fresh green and sunny yellow are added to compliment it with splashes of warmth.




Building on the geometric shapes and the negative space of the logo, the icons are minimalistic and reference data.
